WOODZ CONCERT IN CALIFORNIA [30 NOV 2023]

 

Today’s post is just a recollection of pictures I took when I went to WOODZ (Cho Seung-youn) concert on November 30 2023, which took place in the Long Beach Terrace Theater, California.

I had a good seat, VIP package which came with soundcheck, photo with the artist and hi-wave. Also, I met a couple of girls who were amazing to spend time with, and all in all I had an amazing time because I love his music.

Tuve buen lugar, paquete VIP que venía con soundcheck, foto con el artista y hi-wave. Además, conocí a un par de chicas y con las cuales pasee un tiempo maravilloso, y en general me la pase genial porque amo la música del artista.

Today’s post is just a recollection of pictures I took when I went to South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa, California on June 5^th 2023.  I had already been there before but had no idea it was the 6th largest mall in America. El post de hoy es solo una recolección de algunas fotos que tomé cuando fui al centro comercial South Coast Plaza en Costa Mesa, California el 5 de junio de 2023. This post is a recollection of magazine scans and their information regarding the visit of H.O.T. to the city of Los Angeles in March 2000. Most of this is available but NOT easily findable (specially in English or Spanish), since it took me a lot of time to find the information, this is because everything was in two Korean blogs, with almost no text and nothing indicating the existence of information regarding the HOT concert and fan signing. I had to scroll A LOT, pay attention and translate with images.

Este post es una recolección de scans de revistas y su información sobre la visita de H.O.T. a la ciudad de Los Ángeles en marzo de 2000. La mayoría de esto está disponible pero NO es facil de encontrar (especialmente en inglés y español) ya que me llevo mucho tiempo encontrar esta información, más que nada porque todo está en dos blogs coreanos, con casi nada de texto y nada que indique la existencia de información acerca del concierto y firma de autógrafos de HOT. Tuve que buscar mucho, poner atención y traducir con imágenes.

The article is about a wedding and how certain artists attended (the wedding of Yoo Young Jin, H.O.T's teacher, singer and producer), but the important thing is that they got information out and in the section called Hot Scoop 2 it mentions this event by saying: that after their successful concert in China, H.O.T. will offer a "love concert" in Los Angeles, all the benefits of this concert will be donated to the publicity campaign for the eradication of drugs in youth and the drug prevention campaign in youth love house, as well as the creation of a welfare center for homeless drug addicts and alcoholics, orphans and other disadvantaged people. They will travel on March 8th and it will be at the Western Bonaventure Hotel in LA on March 12th at 7 pm. Sponsored by Ford Motors. Posters with the image of H.O.T. will be distributed to promote the new Ford Focus and Mustang products.

El artículo es sobre una boda y como ciertos artistas asistieron (la boda de Yoo Young Jin, maestro de H.O.T's, cantante y productor), pero lo importante es que sacaron información y en la sección llamada hot scoop 2 menciona este evento diciendo: que tras su exitoso concierto de china, H.O.T. ofrecerá un ”concierto de amor” en Los Ángeles, todos los beneficios de este concierto se donarán a la campaña de publicidad para la erradicación de las drogas en la juventud y a la campaña de prevención de drogas en la juventud love house, así como la creación de un centro de bienestar para personas sin hogar drogadictos y alcohólicos, huérfanos y otras personas desfavorecidas. Viajarán el 8 de marzo y va a ser en el hotel western bonaventure de LA el 12 de marzo a las 7 pm. Patrocina Ford motors. Se distribuirán carteles con la imagen de H.O.T. para promocionar los nuevos productos de Ford focus y Mustang.

The Afternoon H.O.T Was Praised With Love and Support by Their Fans

US... On March 11, 2pm at ORANGE FAN SHOP, HOT's autograph session began. Although the session started 1hour and 3 minutes later than scheduled, 500 fans patiently waited for HOT's arrival. The fans were not only Korean, but Japanese, Chinese, and American. The weather was hot and made the members restless, but gave their signs patiently and friendly. They sat in the order : Woo Hyuk, Kang Ta, Hee Jun, Jae Won, Tony.. and asked the fans their names. During the session, Tony had a bag by his feet (carried by SM's Kim Kyong Wook) was mysteriously stolen. Inside the bag contained Kang Ta and Jae Won's passports and air tickets, 7000 American dollars, and paperwork. The passport and ticket were easily replaced by temporary materials, but the paperwork that was stolen were very important. Because of the stolen bag, HOT's plans to go shopping were cancelled and only attended Woo Hyuk's friend's wedding.

EE. UU.... El 11 de marzo, a las 2 p. m. en ORANGE FAN SHOP, comenzó la sesión de autógrafos de HOT. Aunque la sesión comenzó una hora y tres minutos más tarde de lo previsto, 500 fans esperaron pacientemente la llegada de HOT. No solo eran coreanos, sino también japoneses, chinos y estadounidenses. El calor inquietó a los miembros, pero dieron autógrafos con paciencia y amabilidad. Se sentaron en el orden: Woo Hyuk, Kang Ta, Hee Jun, Jae Won, Tony... y preguntaron a los fans sus nombres. Durante la sesión, Tony tenía una bolsa a sus pies (llevada por Kim Kyong Wook de SM) que fue robada misteriosamente. Dentro de la bolsa contenía los pasaportes y boletos de avión de Kang Ta y Jae Won, 7000 dólares estadounidenses y documentación. El pasaporte y el boleto se reemplazaron fácilmente por materiales temporales, pero la documentación robada era muy importante. Debido al robo de la bolsa, los planes de HOT de ir de compras se cancelaron y solo asistieron a la boda de un amigo de Woo Hyuk.

The cover says 2) concert in LA

The second page mentions that there's content about an autograph signing and a concert in Los Angeles.

The third page only mentions that a bag was stolen at the autograph signing, that there was a benefit concert at that hotel, and that fans from Japan and China were also there. The photos below are from the autograph signing.

H.O.T's stay in LA

March 8th: HOT arrived at around 12:00. Some problems occurred with their VISA's and only Woo Hyuk and Tony got through. So the concert was ALMOST cancelled. Almost being the key word there. But they got a lawyer and that helped a whole bunch because well no duh they had the concert. The delay caused them to be beind in their schedule for about 2 to 3 hours. They were supposed to go to FM Seoul, but they relaxed and shopped.

March 9th: Hey HOT! HOT! What are you going to do next now that you made it through the airport? <HOT in unison> WE'RE GOING TO DISNEYLAND! <HOT smiling and having fun with Mickey> They also went to work after to FM Seoul.

Yep they went to Disneyland. If any of you guys gone, maybe you've seen them.

March 10th: Where should you go after DisneyLand? Hmm....How about...Sea World~! I don't think that the Goliath could conquer them. hehe.

SM auditions held.

Results of the SM auditions: Three people signed a contract with SM management. Their names are unavailable to me. For now.

March 11th: HOT autograph signing that started at 2:30 in the afternoon. It ended at about 4:30 PM. *Tony An lost his black bag. SM is stressing that it is very important that they have it returned for whoever might have taken it. Please contact me if you have information on it. Any information that is helpful to finding the bag will be rewarded with a dinner or lunch with HOT and SM will also give a gift too.* They were also spotted in their limo by Cyberzone and Players ~~> 2 places to be for korean ppl to hang @.

March 12: HOT concert. They woke up late that day. So whoever went there and saw the members arrive, they were hungry~! All for the fans they went to rehearse. Poor them. The concert started at about 8:00 and ended around 9:30. For your information, fans were there waiting for the best seats they could get at 6:00 in the morning.

March 13: Hee Jun left to be with his family for his b-day. The rest stayed til the night. They went to the Beverly Center and Melrose to shop around. I heard that Jae Won was wearing the HOT crew jacket all day. I bet that made all the fans HOt crew ppl happy =)"

La estancia de H.O.T. en Los Ángeles

8 de marzo: HOT llegó sobre las 12:00. Tuvieron algunos problemas con sus visas y solo Woo Hyuk y Tony lograron comunicarse. Así que el concierto CASI se canceló. Casi esla palabra clave. Pero contrataron a un abogado y eso les ayudó mucho porque, bueno, no duhh, tenían el concierto. El retraso los hizo estar atrasados durante unas 2 o 3 horas. Se suponía que iban a ir a FM Seúl, pero se relajaron y fueron de compras.

9 de marzo: ¡Hola, HOT! ¡HOT! ¿Qué vas a hacer ahora que pasaste por el aeropuerto? <HOT al unísono> ¡NOS VAMOS A DISNEYLAND! <HOT sonriendo y divirtiéndose con Mickey> También fueron a trabajar después de ir a FM Seúl.

Sí, fueron a Disneyland. Si alguno de ustedes fue, quizás los hayan visto.

10 de marzo: ¿Adónde deberían ir después de Disneyland? Mmm... ¿Qué tal... Sea World? No creo que Goliat pueda con ellos. Jeje.

Audiciones de SM realizadas.

Resultados de las audiciones de SM: Tres personas firmaron un contrato con la agencia de SM. No tengo sus nombres disponibles. Por ahora.

11 de marzo: Firma de autógrafos de HOT que comenzó a las 2:30 de la tarde y terminó sobre las 4:30 p. m. *Tony An perdió su bolso negro. SM insiste en que es muy importante que se lo devuelvan a quien lo haya robado. Por favor, contáctenme si tienen información al respecto. Cualquier información útil para encontrar el bolso será recompensada con una cena o almuerzo con HOT y SM también les dará un regalo.* También los vieron en su limusina por Cyberzone y Players ~~> Dos lugares para que la gente coreana se divierta.

12 de marzo: Concierto de HOT. Se despertaron tarde ese día. Así que quienquiera que haya ido y haya visto llegar a los miembros, ¡tenía hambre~! Fueron a ensayar solo por las fans. Pobres. El concierto empezó sobre las 8:00 y terminó sobre las 9:30. Para su información, las fans estaban allí esperando los mejores asientos desde las 6:00 de la mañana.

13 de marzo: Hee Jun se fue para pasar su cumpleaños con su familia. El resto se quedó hasta la noche. Fueron al Beverly Center y a Melrose a darse una vuelta. Escuché que Jae Won llevaba la chaqueta del staff de HOT todo el día. Seguro que eso hizo felices a todas las fans y staff HOT =)"

Well some really mean and nasty person stole the black bag that was near Tony at the autograph signing. You guys might know all about this but here it is again. Okay, here's what it had: The black bag contained some of the SM's staff passports and airline tickets as well as Kang Ta's and Jae Won's. It also contained over 7,000 bucks in cash. As soon as they found out that they lost it, SM people went to the korean officials and applied for emergency passports.And here's another bad thing. HOT was supposed to stay in LA longer to find some new styles of music with various people for their 5th album but that was all cancelled!!! That is soooo sad. And I hope that whoever stole the bag would have a clear conscience and GIVE IT BACK!"

"hehehe...well HOT's signing and concert was a complete success. they were so happy. I had alot of fun being at the autograph session and concert. CRAZY HOT FANS! i was a staff for angelcd and all the fans were going so crazy. they barely listened to any of the staffs at the signing and at the concert. it drove us staffs crazy! we yelled and yelled! and no one listened and listened. but i can understand, if i wasn't staff i wouldn't want to listen either..i would just want to get close to HOT as much as i could. people thought i was being so mean and rude..i just kept on hearing girls say behind my back, "B*tch! B*tch!" but i really didn't care because i was so busy fixing everything for HOT. it's hard being staff you know. if you were staff too, you would know what i'm talking about. and then someone stole the passport..that shows that whoever have done it has no respect for HOT what so ever. at the concert, there were alot of people..the seats were all bought and people had to stand of course. it was disaster. the concert started late because HOT wasn't done rehearsing and everyone was getting mad at HOT for being so late. and yeah, that was HOT's fault. i had fun at the signing and concert."

Pero la verdad es que no me importaba porque estaba muy ocupado arreglando todo para HOT. Es difícil ser miembro del equipo, ¿sabes? Si tú también lo fueras, sabrías de qué hablo. Y luego alguien robó el pasaporte... eso demuestra que quien lo hizo no tiene ningún respeto por HOT. en el concierto, había un montón de gente... los asientos estaban todos comprados y la gente tuvo que estar de pie, por supuesto. Fue un desastre. El concierto empezó tarde porque HOT no había terminado de ensayar y todos se estaban enojando con HOT por llegar tan tarde. Y sí, eso fue culpa de HOT. Me divertí en la firma de autógrafos y en el concierto."

Así de exitoso fue... lo único malo fue que al principio fue un poco caótico porque la gente no se sentaba. :P ¡Pero todo lo demás estuvo BIEN! ¡Buena iluminación, escenario y efectos láser! ¡Y el hotel era enorme! ¡Jeje! ¡Creo que este es su mejor concierto hasta ahora! ¡Y MÁS buenas NOTICIAS! ¡H.O.T. PLANEA VOLVER a Los Ángeles para otro concierto más tarde! No tengo información al respecto."

Today’s post is just a recollection of pictures I took when I went to Universal Studios Hollywood in California on May 23^rd 2023.  It was my first time in Super Nintendo World, and like 6^th time in the theme park overall.

El post de hoy es solo una recolección de algunas fotos que tomé cuando fui a los Estudios Universal en Hollywood, California el 23 de mayo de 2023. Fue la primera vez que iba al área de Super Nintendo World, y como la sexta vez en total que iba al parque de diversiones.
